Sunset Drive-in was opened in 1950 and is one of the state’s oldest continuously-operating drive-in theaters, in business for more than 65 consecutive seasons. The family-owned theater offers three screens showing double features of major blockbuster and family films between April and October and accommodates 900 cars per evening. In-car audio for films is provided via FM transmission. An American-style family diner is open for full service daily at 4:00pm and offers menu items such as hot and cold sandwiches, oven-baked pizzas, and fried appetizers. A children’s menu is also offered, along with desserts such as cotton candy, funnel cakes, and a variety of classic candies.
