Tonight, I'm stuffing my face with @bettys_burgers because, well, first and foremost, it's delicious, and secondly because my furbaby is spending the night away from home 💙
He had some pretty significant surgery today, so the vet wants to keep him in for observation.
Leaving him in the care of others – no matter who they are – never gets easier. I wish we had the option of staying overnight with them after big events like this. Heck, I'd even curl myself in that cage with him if I were given the option!
I'm lost without him.

PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Sarah FriggieriIt always makes me laugh when waiters/waitresses assume the meatiest dishes are for the male at the table. I mean, sure, he's 6'2 and I'm a whole foot shorter, but these beef ribbies were allllllll mine 😁🤤
And I didn't even get any sauce on my new dress 💃🤣
(You'll notice the baked potato is missing a key ingredient; the sour cream at @hurricanesgrillandbar is not gluten-free.)

If you visit @meatdistrictcosyd, just order the Greek salad with a side of grilled chicken.
I originally ordered the beef medallion and asked if I could have the truffle mash instead of the fries, since the mash is gluten-free and the chips aren't. The waitress said I'd have to buy the mash as an extra side and just choose the salad as a side.
$45 for a steak and just a side salad?! Yeah right.
Then I asked if any of the burgers were gluten-free and the waitress pointed to the sweet potato burger and – I kid you not – said "Anything with the 'vg' next to it is gluten-free".
I then asked, fairly confidently, "You mean it's vegan?".
And she said "Oh yeah, vegan".
🤦♀️
Lucky I was surrounded by great company – I freaking LOVE the team at my permanent job 💗
