The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is located on the St. Johns River in the Riverside Avondale historic district in Jacksonville, just minutes from downtown. The Gadsden Arts Center & Museum is a cultural gem located in the heart of downtown historic Quincy, Florida, right on the courthouse square. Only 20 miles west of Tallahassee, the Gadsden Arts Center & Museum present a wide variety of art exhibitions representing nationally recognized to local and emerging artists, and art of cultural or historical importance, and artwork by area school children.
The Homer and Dolly Hand Art Center (HAC) is an academic museum and gallery at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. The HAC has an active rotation of art exhibitions and programmatic offerings for all ages and interests and has a tiered membership program. The HAC is open year-round. The most prominent holdings of the HAC are the more than 1,100 artworks by the modernist painter Oscar Bluemner–the HAC has a gallery dedicated to the work of Bluemner. The HAC sees approximately 12,000 visitors per year, while no admission charge is required the HAC does accept donations at the door and recruits for the membership program.
