So much fun! One fee for admission and kids can do all the activities. Zip Lines, Ropes Course, Slides, Play Area, Cow Train, Hayrides, Bounce Area, and much more! Several food and snack stands. There’s even a beer garden for the grown ups. Open for Tulips in spring, pumpkins in fall.
One of our favorite places. So many animals (polar bears, musk ox, arctic fox, gibbons, tigers, elephant, clouded leopards) and a cool new aquarium featuring hammerhead sharks & rays. Food court, picnic area, gift shop, kids zone, petting zoo, antique carousel. Definitely worth having a membership if you live in Pierce County.
Mini Maestros is a monthly event for kids put on by the Tacoma Symphony. Arrive early to try out instruments at the instrument “petting zoo.” This was such a fun way to introduce my little one to they symphony and musical instruments. The theater is absolutely gorgeous. The shows are approximately one hour in length. No snack stand so if your little one is a snacker like mine, throw some in your bag. Food and drink are allowed in the theater.
