BMoCA is a dynamic venue dedicated to the presentation of significant art of our time. The museum’s program vision is unique in its focus on the intersection of visual and performing arts and in its artistic direction and curatorial philosophy. BMoCA often takes artistic risks by presenting previously un-produced work created by established, emerging, and experimental artists. The museum’s role in the community is that of contemporary art provider and educator, striving to inform our audience about the relevance of today’s art forms by making quality visual and performing artwork accessible and enjoyable.

PEOPLE ARE SAYING:
Since 1936, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College has housed all of the arts under one roof. The Taylor Museum exhibits fine art from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, as well as pieces from its collection of Native American and Hispanic works of art. The Performing Arts department produces a full schedule of Broadway musicals each season, a Play Series, and a Youth Repertory Workshop. The Bemis School of Art offers diverse hands-on art classes to community members of all ages.
The Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center is a beautifully remodeled historic building located at the base of the Grand Mesa in Western Colorado. The venue houses an art gallery, state of the art black box theatre and is a destination for art, performances and education. Every show in the Starr Family Gallery displays for eight weeks, so there is always something new to experience!
The Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver (MCA) is an innovative forum for contemporary art that inspires and challenges all audiences, creating understanding and dialog about art of our time. Formed in 1996, MCA provides Denver with its first major contemporary art museum. MCA is a non-collecting space and functions like the European model of a kunsthalle, offering the ongoing presentation of groundbreaking and thought-provoking artwork. MCA sees its role to be an incubator for ideas, artistic exchange and cross-disciplinary dialog by presenting diverse exhibitions, education and outreach programs. MCA also features Museum Shop, daily tours by appointment, event space for rent.
