MileHigh andHungryafter one bite of a @birdbakerydenver we are flying back to get some more 🦅 these sweet spot sits right in DTC and serves up some tasty treats. They’re definitely soaring above the competition— especially with their mini cupcakes being served in egg cartons 🥰

This bakery was born in texas so it has a nice southern style to it with red velvet, chocolate peanut butter, coconut cream, carrot, and their signature bird blue vanilla 🐦

These one bite delights are gone in minutes but luckily they have a whole case to choose more goodies from. Whether it’s a mini pecan pie, peach cobbler, banana bread or granola. They know how to make it all.

While a bakery at first glance, it’s a cafe for sure with an entire lunch menu to eat through before diving into dessert.

2. The Saucy Noodle
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:MileHigh andHungryhow is it pasta-bly 2022? Something even crazier, @thesaucynoodle has been around for over 55 years 🎉 it might be early in the year but we’re already getting lost in their sauce.

The Alfredo is as creamy as it is dreamy. Even though our grandmas aren’t back there cooking it sure feels like it.

There’s no fuss, just comfort and flavor whether its their spaghetti with meatballs or one of their hand stretched pizzas we’re here for it all. Maybe we’ll get the chicken parm next 🐔 🤤

PEOPLE ARE SAYING:MileHigh andHungrywow we might have found the most wicked wings of the west 🍗 @etc.eatery.denver ‘s menu said chicken wings but these could be mistaken for turkey. A menu meant to encompass worldly eats does just that! It can be hard to pick what to get — but that’s why the @wadjuthink app is so helpful! It rates each dish individually so you know what’s the dish to dig into 😋

@etc.eatery.denver is all dressed up for the holidays so it’s no wonder their chicken wings are looking their best — after a nice bath in buffalo sauce. Pivot from this bar bite and go for their homemade pasta 🍝 ! Bolognese or beef stroganoff. Not in the mood — their mexican style of ceviche is tomato based and is a fresh version of a cocktail with onions, cilantro, and avocado!

4. Maria Empanada
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:MileHigh andHungry🚨 GIVEAWAY 🚨 #worldrefugeeday was last sunday but we’re still supporting all the immigrant/migrant owned businesses in Denver ! One of our favorites is @mariaempanada ! This Argentinian restaurant makes each empanada by hand all day long to serve only the best.

It feels like a family here with a ton of passionate people bringing this restaurant to life!

Their empanadas can be traditional like the spiced steak and pulled chicken or they do an Italian caprese too. Each one is wrapped in a buttery flakey shell waiting to reveal what’s inside.

5. Bacon Social House
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:MileHigh andHungry🥓BACON 🥓 our day better after a brunch at @baconsocialhouse new spot on broadway!

@baconsocialhouse rolled out their full menu and we’re here for it. Their pancakes aren’t just buttermilk instead they have some sweets like carrot cake and red velvet. The cream cheese icing and maple syrup are exactly how we need all our pancakes to be topped of. Dessert for breakfast is a definite mood.

Instead of regular hashbrowns or crispy potatoes, they have potato tots mixed with cheese and bacon 🤤 fried up and ready for us to devour.

breakfast can’t be without bacon and we’ll start with their bacon flight or thick cut. It’s way better than starting a meal with bread and butter, we’ll take this instead.
