There are different parts of the park, separated by tree stands. On the west side is a large open field area, with picnic areas at the SW corner, mostly under cover of tall evergreens. The east side is heavily wooded. Walking/jogging paths run all around and through the entire park. Mission Street, to the north, is fairly heavily trafficked, but the park is so large that it's easy to get away from that bustle and relax in the green open spaces.
