Hocking Hills offers 156 electrical campsites, heated showers, a dump station, playground, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, camp store, and swimming pool. 6. Yellowstone National Park

The more than 300 geysers here make up two-thirds of all those found on earth.
Combine this with more than 10,000 thermal features comprised of brilliantly colored hot springs, bubbling mud pots, and steaming fumaroles, and you have a place like no other.
Yellowstone’s vast collection of thermal features provides a constant reminder of the park’s recent volcanic past.

Bonnie L PicklesReally nice state park. Big and sites are spread out. No howdy neighbor sites here. Plenty of hiking trails. Clean restrooms and showers. Just wish they had laundry facilities.

This is a gem of a location and RV resort park with all the amenities imaginable. Super for convenience, even direct access to the sands of the Pacific Coast and a bridge that connects the RV park to the quaint little Central California town. Full hook up, clean hot showers, onsite restaurant, camp store, picnic tables at each site and so much more. Hiking, biking, wine tasting, shopping, great restaurants and more.

13. Julian Price Campground
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Phyllis KhareSituated along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, Julian Price Campground is a favorite destination for hikers, anglers, and boaters. Many consider it one of the best RV campgrounds in NC Mountains.
It sits adjacent to Price Lake, a picturesque body of water that stands out against the backdrop of the hills behind it.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 469-mile byway that follows the elevated crests of the central and southern peaks of the Appalachian mountains. You can drive this scenic byway from Shenandoah National Park to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
This campground has something for all members of the family. Canoe rentals are available at Price Lake. You can also enter the lake in other non-motorized boats.

DeAnne RietzThis first come first served USFS campground is peaceful and was not crowed on a Wednesday in July. Electric and water at a handful of sites and clean shower house. Only 5 miles off of I-40.
