Beautiful Public beach which gets its name from the west beach cemetery which sits alongside the beach. There are some trees and a picnic table, ample parking. It's a great beach which tends to be less busy. Hop in the water and snorkel with turtles, stingreys and see the Caribbean fish right off the shore!
This was my favorite beach to visit. Tons of seating. Lots of space. Gorgeous view. Decent amount of natural shade if you’re into that. Lots of great energy here, always worth the trip. Pro tip: if you say “It’s rum-day” to the bartender you get 10% off your first drink
One of Cayman's most famous public beaches - and for good reason. It's got beach chairs and hammocks, restaurants, a beach bar, water sports and equipment rentals, and ample parking. The perfect beach for a day out with the kids or friends. You can head out with a snorkel to see the amazing Coral Gardens, Kayak to the Bioluminecense Bay, or just chill on the beach with Cayma's famous Mudslide cocktail.
If you're looking for a diner-style breakfast (or lunch or dinner), this is the place for you. Expect a line out the door on the weekends but it moves relatively fast. It offers a basic kids menu, and had some high chairs.
Dive at the sunken Kittiwake to explore a "deserted ship" and observe the gorgeous man-made reef. This is one of the the only diving sites in Cayman you need a permit for, so sign up for the dive either online or through a diving company. If you prefer to snorkel, just head out from West Bay public beach (it's doable, albeit a bit of a swim). Just be careful of the diving boats!
I’ve heard a ton of great things about this site. Can’t wait to go myself. Will post pictures when I do 🐠🐡
An outdoor shopping, dining, center which also houses many of the island's office building, as well as luxury condos, Cayman's only theater and more. It's a great weekend hangout for adults and kids (bring a change of clothes and let them play in the fountains!). Ample parking available.
there's a walkway from Camana Bay over the road and straight to the beach so it's also a great spot to have some food after a day on seven mile
Sip on a cocktail right on the water, enjoy daily happy hours, and feed the tarpon fish every evening!
Don't forget to order the Mudslide - it's an island favorite!
In the daytime you can hop in the water for a snorkel and climb back up using ladders that lead you right up onto the deck. Super convenient and easy to get to your drink!

If you want the best LOCAL food on the island, head over to the Heritage Kitchen, a little shack by the water, where a local grandma (she's ok with the title) cooks whatever they fish that day. Dining is outside on the picnic tables, so expect it to be hot, but worth every bite.
If you're looking for the best sushi on island, you've come to the right place. Signature cocktails are a must, as is the veggie Cupcake roll (trust me.) Service is friendly and they are accommodating to children. Reservation needed in the evening.
This was my go to spot when I needed a good happy hour. Nice island vibe here and a pretty good liquor menu
Step into a waterfront restaurant and feel like you're in Australia! This Ozzy inspired eatery has amazing and fresh seafood, kid friendly options and delicious sliders. There are bird feeding every Sunday and everyone is welcome to join!
Your best spot on island for organic, healthy and fresh shakes, coffee, and other treats. There are countless vegan options as well. Order at the bar and take a seat out in the shade in the beautiful Camana Bay.
A spirited and energetic mexican restaurant and bar with amazing food and even better tequilas. Don't forget to order the margarita pitcher - and don't drive home because it is BIG. Parking is available but is limited so if there aren't any spots left, just part at the supermarket across the street.
parking tip: if you drive over with a car, make sure to park in the parking lot across the street from the beach and not by the side of the road - you might get a ticket there...
Gorgeous public beach in the South Sound neighborhood. Jump off the stones into the water, snorkel with the beautiful Caribbean fish in the water, or even swim over the Harbour and Eden Rock! There are chickens running through the sand so don't be surprised if you have chicks running over you! There is a public toilet and a shower and ample parking across the street.
