PEOPLE ARE SAYING:
Chef DanWe opted for the Frito Misto appetizer which consisted of lightly battered calamari and shrimp topped with cilantro and fried onions with a chipotle mayo. It was Absolutely DELICIOUS!
Doris ordered the Shrimp Scampi entrée which featured Jumbo Shrimp sautéed in white wine garlic and herb butter. She said that it was the perfect wine to butter ratio. I ordered the Baked Stuffed Shrimp. The Jumbo Shrimp are stuffed with lump crabmeat and baked with white wine, garlic butter and lemon. PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Chef DanFor our lunches we ordered the Lion Fish and the Hog Fish Piccata Sandwiches. They were both cooked perfectly and the taste was out of this world. We actually asked for the sandwiches to be cut in half so that we could both try the 2 different sandwiches. Mena our server had the kitchen plate the sandwiches half and half so that we wouldn’t have to do a messy switch at the table. PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Chef DanDuring our latest visit to Marathon we decided to celebrate Doris’ birthday with a wonderful meal at Brutus Restaurant & Seafood Market. Doris ordered the Brutus Platter which consists of fried, blackened or grilled fresh fish, lobster tail and shrimp. I choose the 8oz lobster tail dinner. I can safely say that it had to be one of if not The Freshest, Best Tasting lobster tails that I have ever had. We finished the evening off with a generous slice of delicious Key Lime Pie. PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Chef DanWe stopped in around noon time for some lunch. We ordered 3 simple lunch items. The Key Shrimp Quesadilla was delicious as was the Key Shrimp Taco Platter. The Lobster Bisque, however, was a hit as it was thick, creamy, and loaded with chunks of fresh lobster meat. The Shrimp Tacos were hands down the best that I have EVER had. PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Chef Dan We started with the 7-mile Lobster Bites that were really mouth-watering and melted in your mouth like butter. Next up was the Chilled Shrimp with Avocado Salsa served with a generous portion of Corn Chips. Lastly, we had the Boom Boom Shrimp that can only be described as Boom Boom Fantastic! 6. 7 Mile Grill
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Chef DanThey have a special Greek food section and several Greek items scattered throughout the menu. We went with the Blackened Grouper and the Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwiches. All that I can say is that they were incredible, I could not get enough. I also tried the homemade Key Lime Pie that was sensational.
