Chabad on the Coast is the first English speaking Chabad House in the heart of Tel Aviv. Tel aviv is the city that never sleeps, the city with a surging economy, and the epicenter of cultural life in Israel. Our aim is to infuse Tel Aviv with vibrant Jewish life. Chabad on the Coast serves the English speaking community, where the door is always open, where thousands of Jews will be inspired, learn and grow together, and connect to our Jewish heritage in new and uplifting ways.
Our programs include; joyous Shabbat & holiday services and meals, young professional events, Torah classes, children's programs, social events and more. We provide every Jew regardless of background, an open environment for strengthening and enhancing Jewish life.
Our synagogue, located at 126 Ben Yehuda St. is our city’s first JCC. Our center is an ideal place for Internationals and Israelis living in Tel Aviv, as both English and Hebrew speakers are welcome in our diverse community. All observances, traditions, and levels of familiarity with Jewish customs will feel comfortable and enjoy a variety of cultural and educational programs. We regularly host large social Friday night Shabbat dinners for young professionals from around the globe. All Tikkun Olam activities, and holiday services are free, including every Shabbat morning kiddush/chulent lunches. 1930’s Bauhaus design with the Diversity, Warmth & Vibrancy of today’s White City.
For over 15 years, Rosh Yehudi has offered a rich variety of programs and events centered around Jewish heritage and culture. Daily classes are available in the Rosh Yehudi center on Tzfat St, prayer services take place in the synagogue located at 54 Bar Kochba St, there is a seminar for women, a program for Bar Mitzva preparation, and much more.
Rosh Yehudi rose to address the growing thirst for Jewish identity. Our rabbis are heavily influenced by the Torah of Rav Kook. We offer fresh and relevant programming, which encourages the growth of every person, in every situation. We also take part in various activities designed to remove barriers between parts of the nation of Israel. Being one and united is our primary goal.
Kerem House is a community-led cultural space in the heart of Tel Aviv, organized by young people who wish to create a vibrant Jewish community, for themselves and for their peers. Since its establishment, Kerem House has fed and hosted over 3,000 Israelis, olim and visitors over the course of 300+ Shabbat dinners, holiday meals and a variety of communal events and activities.
