This is a gem of a location and RV resort park with all the amenities imaginable. Super for convenience, even direct access to the sands of the Pacific Coast and a bridge that connects the RV park to the quaint little Central California town. Full hook up, clean hot showers, onsite restaurant, camp store, picnic tables at each site and so much more. Hiking, biking, wine tasting, shopping, great restaurants and more.

5. Apostle Islands National Lakeshore

Amy NicholsApostle Islands were breathtaking. We did a cruise around them all (bring your raincoat or poncho!) with a captain who had spent time as a young man volunteering in the NP. He was chock full of great info.
We went sea kayaking among the sea caves the next day. It was a fun tour! Trek and Trail outfitters and guides were very helpful and thoughtful of us older folks.
Stayed at Apostle Islands Area Campground-very nice and close to Bayfield. Watch for the Giant Wolverine!
