2. McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park

This state park is situated inside the Cascade Range and Modoc Plateau natural region, and is set in a gorgeous forest. It has five miles of stream and lake shoreline, including Lake Britton, and amazing hikes.
There is also the gorgeous 129 foot Burney Falls waterfall that alone is worth the trip. The campground is also very nice, with a beach, boat ramp, camp store and more.
3. Hocking Hills State Park

Hocking Hills offers 156 electrical campsites, heated showers, a dump station, playground, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, camp store, and swimming pool. This campground has everything you need for a well-rounded vacation.

Bonnie L PicklesReally nice state park. Big and sites are spread out. No howdy neighbor sites here. Plenty of hiking trails. Clean restrooms and showers. Just wish they had laundry facilities.

This is a gem of a location and RV resort park with all the amenities imaginable. Super for convenience, even direct access to the sands of the Pacific Coast and a bridge that connects the RV park to the quaint little Central California town. Full hook up, clean hot showers, onsite restaurant, camp store, picnic tables at each site and so much more. Hiking, biking, wine tasting, shopping, great restaurants and more.

12. Julian Price Campground
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Phyllis KhareSituated along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, Julian Price Campground is a favorite destination for hikers, anglers, and boaters. Many consider it one of the best RV campgrounds in NC Mountains.
It sits adjacent to Price Lake, a picturesque body of water that stands out against the backdrop of the hills behind it.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 469-mile byway that follows the elevated crests of the central and southern peaks of the Appalachian mountains. You can drive this scenic byway from Shenandoah National Park to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
This campground has something for all members of the family. Canoe rentals are available at Price Lake. You can also enter the lake in other non-motorized boats.

15. Lake McClellan Campground

DeAnne RietzThis first come first served USFS campground is peaceful and was not crowed on a Wednesday in July. Electric and water at a handful of sites and clean shower house. Only 5 miles off of I-40.
16. Isla Blanca Park, State Park Road 100, South Padre Island, TX

17. Montaña de Oro State Park
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Phyllis KhareThis State Park located on the Central coast of California about 6 - 7 miles south of Morro Bay and Los Osos is a great place to camp and accommodates RV's up to 27 feet. There are no hook ups, flush toilets or dump stations however the RV sites do have firepits, there is a camp store and camp host and firewood is available for sale... but the beauty of being nestled in this State Park is that it is located away from town a few miles or so down a country road. You will love the hiking available along the cliffs over the ocean and beach access to Spooners Beach just outside the campground. Dogs are welcome on Spooners Beach and at your campsite but not on the hiking trails.

19. Haas Lake Park RV Campground

Matt LaffertyMy wife and I wanted to get away but still had to go to work. We own a business in Waterford, MI, so we stayed here for a week. Loops Y & Z are larger sites and more secluded. Close enough to the city but a nice quiet place.
20. First Landing State Park

Ruthie TonyFirst Landing State Park is just a phenomenal place. Sites are wooded and the beach is accessible by several short walkways. The RV sites have hook-ups. We chose to dry camp and use our own shower and toilet.
