Note to consider: it is often written to come here at dusk to take pictures. However, don’t arrive in the afternoon, because you probably won’t see anything because of the sun.

2. Furnace Creek Visitor Center
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Or GitThe visitor center of the national park. Here you can pay the fee for entrance. The staff here are very pleasant and eager to help, and they also provide useful maps for every corner around the park (including trails). This step should be one of the first steps you should visit when you come here.
3. Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Or GitThe park is full of dunes, but those are the most accessible and wide.
It is highly recommended to come here before dawn and watch the sun rises slowly. The dunes’ landscape creates a beautiful view of shadows and lights when the sun rises. Don’t miss that!

4. Zabriskie Point

5. Artist's Palette
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Or GitA beautiful road to view by car. The road is one way and it is recommended to start your trip with this road because it gives you a sense of what you are going to see later.

6. Artist's Palette Entrance Viewpoint
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Or GitWhen you just get into the Artist's Palette road, stop to take some pictures on the nice viewpoint. It is amazing!
7. Golden Canyon Trailhead
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Or GitThe golden canyon is a great trail for who will want to include some hiking during the trip.
I highly suggest starting hiking early and take sunscreen with you because around noon the sun will watch you anywhere. Moreover, before your arrival, take a map
of the trail from the visitor center in Furnace Creek. It will help you navigating during the trail.
There are two main options for the trail:
1. One way back and forth to the Red Cathedral” (~ 3 kilometers).
2. A loop through the “Gower Gulch” (~ 7 kilometers).
I personally combined both because I had time and I wanted to see everything.

11. Dante’s View
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Or GitAn amazing viewpoint to the whole valley. Very recommended to come here either at dusk or before noon, because otherwise the sun will be in your eyes (like it was in mine :)). You will arrive here by car.

12. Ubehebe Crater
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Or GitVery recommended to surround the crater. There is a short hiking trail that surrounds the crater. The trail allows you to reach the Little Hebe Crater that is next to Ubehebe Crater, and it is suggested to explore the whole area if you are already here.
