Edward Smathers One of the first parks I visited when moving to the Capital Region!Edward Smathers Hit up the park with the kids! Lots of waterfalls and trails and playgrounds!
2. Fillmore Glen State Park
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Edward Smathers This park is very under rated and definitely deserves to be explored. Several waterfalls are here with great hiking trails!

3. Stony Brook State Park
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Edward Smathers YesEdward Smathers I remember this being a great swim spot, as a kid. Now they ask that visitors stay off the creek beds.
4. Crumley Dam

1.8 mile from the Eatonville bridge located at the small campground and picnic area on Eatonville Road.
5. High Falls Park Campground

6. Minnewaska State Park Preserve

7. Wilmington Notch Falls
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:Edward Smathers This is a lesser-known, but very beautiful waterfall. It can be VERY dangerous in certain conditions, so be sure to wear proper footwear and be conscious of weather conditions.

10. Emery Park
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:bobbieswaterfalls (bobbie sweeting)Emery Park has 4 waterfalls. Emery Park Falls, (Go to the second entry to the north end and follow the road to the right. I have included pictures of location landmarks). Emery Park North Falls, (The book states behind pavilion number 6, but that is no longer true. I believe if I remember correctly. Drive in the first entrance to the park, count 3 roads on your left). Emery Park South Falls and Harrigan's Falls. (We were directed to this waterfall by a couple of walkers in the park. They they just stated to watch for the huge tree at the fork and go left. It is a loop around in that section of the park).
