This family owned restaurant gave us an authentic Roman experience and warm hospitality.
Best Carbonara we’ve ever had ➡️ Pasta alla norma - eggplant, cherry tomatoes and salted sheep ricotta cheese ➡️ Tiramisu we fell in love with - did you know it means ‘pulls me up’? 🍝
Via del Governo Vecchio, 112, 00186 Roma RM, Italy
PEOPLE ARE SAYING:
Another sensational fresh ice cream with more innovative flavours like their Frigidarium, Cremino, Crema Fiorentina covered with white or dark chocolate 🤤. And of Course we went there three times in four days 🙄
Another small family owned restaurant with some mind blowing food - we got the Rigatoni with tomato sauce, Oxtail, celery, pecorino, and dark cocoa (yes, cocoa, and it was perfect!) ➡️ Pasta Gricia - Guanciale, Pecorino cheese and black pepper ➡️ Divine lamb chops on the grill 🤯
Ready for some food from Rome? 🇮🇹
The Roscioli family seem to rule Rome - and we couldn’t get enough. After having their pizza for breakfast at the bakery (Forno), we went to the restaurant and got the Amatriciana - Guanciale, Pecorino & tomatoes ➡️ Cacio e Pepe, Which basically means “cheese and pepper”. Phenomenal!
